OK, so I am wondering what my chances are at some of these schools. I go to what is said to be the most academically challenging schools in Maryland and have...

GPA: 3.4
SAT: 1900

Also...
- highly rated art portfolio, and plan on going into an art major in college
- likely playing DIII lacrosse (i have been recruited by two of these schools and in contact with the others)

-Connecticut College
-Middlebury
-Tufts
-Bowdoin
-Hamilton
-Williams
-Colby

Anyone else in a situation like me? What was the result? Also I am open to any other school suggestions. As you can see I am mostly interested in north eastern small schools with good lacrosse and art programs.

anyone? I would particularly like some ideas on safety schools for me since i feel like all of the ones on my list are either matches or reaches

I can say that your list is definitely very top heavy. I can’t really help you pick out a college, though, since I don’t know any particular schools for an art major. If you’re really clueless, you could do a search at [College Navigator - National Center for Education Statistics](College Navigator - National Center for Education Statistics) It’ll take a while a sort through the colleges, but it has a great search engine and tons of stats to help you pick.

From what schools I’m familiar with, they range from crapshoots to outright impossible. Getting recruited to play a sport could get you in despite the lowish stats, but going by the numbers, you’re low on both the SAT and GPA.
