2250+

Thank you for any input

A 4.05 GPA sounds pretty good to me and I do not think it will hurt you at any of the UCs. A 2250+ would be above the average for accepted students at all of the UCs so if you can pull it off it would make you very competitive for any UC. I am certain you will be accepted by all the UCs except UC Berkeley and UCLA where your chances would still be excellent. With Berkeley and UCLA their are no certainties since both schools receive large numbers of applications from highly qualified applicants and it is not always possible to say why one was accepted and another was not, a situation not unlike that seen with the Ivy League schools. If your GPA and SAT scores fall within the range of those of students who were accepted by Berkeley or UCLA last year you should definitely apply since your chances would be just as good as other applicants in that range. You should also apply to some other schools because as I said, no matter what your GPA and SAT scores are UC Berkeley and UCLA are never a sure thing.

Thanks for the very helpful post lemaitre.
