Hey guys, applying to college is stressful and I'd like an outside opinion on the colleges I'm applying to with my high school record. Your help is greatly appreciated!

1) UC Davis
2) Boston University
3) NYU (Early Decision II)

9) University of San Diego
10) Penn State- University Park
11) Drexel University
Most of the others are safeties, so I haven't included them.

Applying with either undecided in Letters&Science or biological sciences for most colleges.

THANKS!!!

Check to see which schools have soccer teams they really care about. Those would be the ones you’re more likely to get into if you plan on playing in college. Some of these seem like they might be a bit of a stretch at first glance considering your GPA (NYU, Northeastern, BU) but you never know who they may need or what they’ll like about your app, so you certainly have a chance at any of them especially if they note that you’ve improved. I don’t know much about the other schools though. Hope this helps a little =)

Thanks. I don’t plan on playing soccer in college though but yeah I’m just hoping to get into some of them. Per statistics, I saw Purdue with a 73% acceptance rate with a 3.5 gpa and a critical reading range of 500-610 and math with 540-670. I hope that would be a good match.

can anyone else help me?!

bumppppp!!

Why Pepperdine University? Somehow seems out of place in your college list. I do not know alot about it (except that it has an attractive Malibu campus and is a Christian school) but schools like Pepperdine, Wheaton, Moodys, interest me. What is the draw? And if it is faith, then why is it attractive as a focus or mandated portion of the curriculum, not simply part of your life outside of school while attending a tradional non-religiously-affiliated college? Hope it’s not too personal, Pepperdine is just a curiousity to me.

I dont mind with the religious aspect even though I am a Hindu. Both my mom and brother studied from a Christian school. The main area of interest would be the academics and the fact that it is in California not too far from home. The campus is also a beauty!

why only Davis ???
you should have applied to all the UCs …

@theleakers Yes, I applied to all of them except Merced, Santa Cruz, and Riverside. I just didn’t mention em because well I doubt I’ll get in :/.

and for the record, I got a 29 on my ACTs.
