<p>I am a junior right now and I want to apply for Cal Poly SLO. I want to major in Areospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
I have a 3.6 weighted gpa(9-11) right now but i plan on getting all A's next semester and taking classes at a community college which will hopefully bring my gpa up to a 3.77. I also plan on getting a 1900 on the SAT's and a 30 on the ACT. I took a year and a half of wrestling. I have 1 year of Key Club and 1 year of Fit Club. I quit wrestling because of my low grades during sophmore year. My grades were low because one of my family members were going through chemo and it was a tough time for me. I also started working at an auto in the begining of junior year. I don't know if that helps or not.</p>

I think that if you manage to get all A’s like you say next semester and actually get 1900 on your SAT’s you should have a fair chance. Though there’s a big difference between thinking that you’ll get a certain grade and actually getting it.
Your EC are fine though I think you should try to get involved in more things and maybe show leadership in some of them??
But other than that I think you’ll do fine… Also you can explain your low grades in the “Additional information” section and maybe that will help too…</p>
