What are my chances?

4.1(w) GPA, 3.75 (UW)
top 5% in my class
SAT- 680V 770M 1450 (retook it last week and hoping for a higher V score)

My school doesn't offer a lot of APs, but i've taken all of the ones that my school has offered. AP Psych, AP Lang, AP Lit.

All my core classes have been honors classes.

I have accumulated roughly 15 math credits at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, including Honors Calc III.

I haven't taken an AP test yet, but I will take B/C, Psych and possibly Lit.

Extracurriculars:
Debate- I've won a tournament and placed in the top 8 multiple times, I was 2nd alternate for Nationals. I am currently the captain.

Science Olympiad- Won two first place medals freshman year, got a 4th place medal sophomore year (the only event I did). At Nationals, i placed 11th in one event and 5th in another. I "retired" and now i'm currently coaching my former middle school team and both events that i coached they placed 1st.

Newspaper- Business Manager (11th, 12th), News editor (12th)

Future Business Leaders of America- VP (11th), Pres (12th), got honorable mentions at State and placed in the top 10 in 3 of my 4 events at a regional competition.

I'm on two youth advisory boards, one for our school district and the other for our police department.

National Honor Society
Math Club
Volunteer at the Childrens Museum

anyone mind helping?

What is your passion? What is your quirk? Dig deep dude. Look for the spirit of goodness and volunteerism that exists in that strong mathematics background of yours. G-town values civic minded people who are interested in bettering the world.

Well like I said, I'm our debate team captain and I spend a considerable amount of time helping out our beginner debaters. I'm also considered by a lot of coaches and debaters to be a top five debater.

I also serve on two community advisory boards. I'm on our school district advisory board, and we take on projects to help better our school district. This year we're working on trying to get our buildings equitable and try and alleviate the drug and alcohol problem in our secondary school. My other board is for our Police Department and we try and raise awareness of the police department. We also advise them on some policy matters, like whether or not the dept. should go to tazers.

Ironically, I devote the least time to math. I'm not any sort of mathlete, my Math scores are high because there's a lot of emphasis in math at my school. Most of my time is devoted to coaching, debating, and newspaper.

Sounds like you have an incredible application. By saying that you had a strong mathematics background, I was by no means implying that you're a "mathlete" (very creative term by the way). I was just very impressed by your background. Good luck with the app. process!
