Indoor Track (Junior and Senior)

Wow. That’s a solid resume you got there, more than solid actually. I actualy think you can make all of them except with a little trouble in Duke and some other ivy’s. Get a little higher sat score, it’s amazing at 2100, but it being higher that that will substantiatly increase your chances. GOOD LUCK!

i think duke, georgetown and some of the Ivies will be big reaches, but UPenn and most of the others are more reasonable options. i like your chances everywhere except duke georgetown, brown, and princeton. i have similar scores and was rejected from Duke ED

I’d say you have a very good shot at Upenn with that legacy (I know cos I ED’ed at Upenn and followed the acceptance thread very closely). Mid-Reach for Cornell and Duke. Reach for Princeton and Brown.

You need to raise that SAT I score a little more, especially CR. :)

I’ve actually talked to the people at Penn when I went for a visit. The biggest boost does help with ED, but legacy doesn’t hurt you either at RD, if you get what I’m saying.

-William & Mary - Match
-Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute - In (Safety)
-WashU in St. Louis - Match
-Duke - High Match
-Cornell - Mid Reach
-Princeton - Nobody can judge this one.
-Brown - Read Princeton
-Northwestern - Low Reach
-U of Notre Dame - Match
-Carnegie Mellon - Match
-UPenn (legacy)- Low Match
-Boston College - Match
-Johns Hopkins - Match
-Georgetown - Match

well those are some pretty competitive colleges that you have applied to but your profile is equally competitive so you have a good chance at all …

You never know with the ivy’s they are reaches for everyone… but for you they are like low reaches… and you have the best shot at UPENN ofcourse…

A solid chance at others too and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is a safety…

On a side note, I consider Rensselaer my safety. I earned the Rensselaer Medal last year, which is good for $15,000/year if I get accepted and decide to go there. Something like 75% of RPI Medalwinners get into the school, or a crazy high statistic like that.
