What are my chances?

Hello,

I am just here to get everyones input on whether not I can get into Exeter. Besides Exeter I do plan on applying to other schools, but Exeter is my No. 1 choice. So I will concisely tell everyone my achievements and my extra curricular activities. I live in Panama (Central America, not Florida.)

I won the Presidents Education Award.
I am fluent in both Spanish and English.
I always get 3-4 As each quarter.
I practice Hap-Ki-Do
I play American Football, and was elected to play for the all start Panamanian team.
When football season ends I play soccer and tennis.
I scuba dive.
Im going to attend Exeters summer school program during the 2011 Summer.

Well, thats basically it I know that it might not be much for Exeter standards, and I am pretty sure that I will not be accepted to the school, but am going to give it my best and see what happens. Please give me any ideas, tips, anything that could help, and please don't worry about sounding harsh I love constructive criticism.

You have as much of a chance a everyone that applies. Just keep in mind that there are so many applicants for so few slots. It’s like playing the lottery. So many applicants apply with High SSAT scores, High GPA, and a lot of EC’s and/or Community Service. I am sure that reading through all of those applications is like Ground Hogs Day to the admissions officer, because so many of them are alike. They list on their website they are a diverse school. Every student being excellent in all of the things I listed above is not diverse, meaning I think other factors play a part in the admissions process also. Best of Luck to you, and remember if it’s meant to be it will, and if you don’t gt accepted maybe there’s something better in store for you.

Thank you, for your thoughts 2011BSACCEPTED, for all those who are viewing and can give me any tips, thoughts, notes, anything that could come in handy post it please.
