I guess my essays should be pretty good or at least decent?

Applying to:
Harvard-EASC
Stanford
MIT
Penn: Jerome Fisher
Duke
Rice

omg... i would say that you have a great shot at all... definitely in at duke and rice

I was impressed, too, by your stats and the committment to your activities. I don't think if they can be labelled "extra-curricular".

However, Harvard (SCEA or not) is usually a pot shot for anybody and everybody. I would second terrybhs06's comment that Rice and Duke's are matches, if not safeties. Regarding MIT and Stanford, I'm unfamiliar with them, so I can't comment.

Again, your activities are admirable. :)

bump heheheheh

Rice is a safety. Penn, Duke, and MIT are matches, but your chances are good as a valedictorian with high scores.

Harvard is always the most difficult, and I think your chances are worse than 50-50. You probably have a decent chance at Stanford - about 50%.

Wow...you're probably in. Even Harvard.
