Could I get direct admit also???

The university doesn't even look at your major when considering your enrollment. So getting into Indiana, and getting into Kelley are two entirely separate things.

Kelley likes to see SATs above 1350, and ACTs above 29, in addition to either a top 5-10% class rank OR a GPA of 3.5 or higher. That's for direct admit out of high school.

I was told that they only admit 5% of their applicants Direct Admit to Kelley, so your stats would need to be leaps and bounds ahead of other applicants, not only to the university, but to the business program.

The majority of the business majors there, and at nearly every school around the country, are admitted after they take a few classes a few years at the university, and apply after their freshman or sophomore year.

That's pretty sweet you did Ice Hockey in Georgia. Indiana has the #2 club team in the Nation.

I thought you have to have a 1270 on the SAT for direct admit. According to http://www.kelley.iu.edu/UGrad/admission/requirements.cfm if you meet the following criteria, you will automatically be offered direct admission to Kelley before entering IU.

Sorry, didn't know about the SAT. I knew the ACT, and used a conversion chart.

BTW - You could get free tuition with your SAT score, if your Math and Verbal are above 1300. Check out the Kelley Scholars Program. Although you had to be admitted by now.

There are tons of scholarships for a student with your test scores and class rank. Indiana would be just as good of an education as many of the top programs in the US, and be significantly cheaper.

Ill check it out, thanks for your help though.

your in direct admit easily

Is it required to have SAT II's???

Do they look at your freshman grades? Just out of curiosity.

I think they throw them out. I wouldn't sweat admission. You should get in, and get a bunch of money. The Business school and IU have money to throw at OOS students of your caliber.

You're probably applying here as a safety, but there are tons of schools out there that don't match IU's quality in their business program, and have the money to give you a cheap tuition relative to your instate program.
