What are my chances?

<p>Hey Im going to be a junior on august. I came to united states when i was 14. I went to 8th grade and now enrolling in high school. Since i wasnt grown up in us, i seem to be less competitive against other students. I need some advices for how to improve my statues.</p>

<p>GPA=4.0
SAT=will take in oct(working on it but i dont think i will get really high scores because my english is not very good)
AP=AP chem in junior year/Ap Cal, Ap goverment, ap environmental science in senior year<br>
ECs=golf freshmen year
basketball soph year
badminton soph year
have been volunteering since 9th grade in local hospital
volunteered in library
have 100+ community services hours
CSF</p>

<p>(planning)start a red cross club in my school
attending yearbook and leadership class
start another long term volunteer
continuing sports</p>

<p>what else should i do? is there a chance for me to get into UC berkeley if i score 2000+ on my sat
P.S. Im from california</p>

<p>Cannot really give you good feedback without any test scores. Re-post after you have the results. Will probably want to be at 2100+ for a more realistic shot.</p>

<p>This is not at all meant to be offensive, but you should consider studying English more. As of right now, your English skills seem a bit sub-par. Improving them would help you not only for the SAT and APs, but also for when you start applying.</p>

<p>Make sure you take the TOEFL. It’s really helpful for ESL students and helps colleges see your relative english level.</p>
