I attend a relatively large (about 1500 students) parochial school on Long Island, NY. I'm a white female and I'm applying to NYU, Columbia, Cornell, and University of Notre Dame as an English major, along with a few "safety" schools that I've already been accepted to.

I rank about 62/424 with an unweighted GPA of 3.6. I work full time every summer and hold two part time jobs during the school year. I volunteer at an after-school program. I have Principal's List, Honor Roll, and NSHSS awards. Clubs are limited since I don't have transportation but I'm a member of the Catholic High School Math League, and I did a few random activities in 9th grade. I'm carrying 2 AP Courses and everything else honors with a few electives.

My SAT scores are:
Verbal - 690
Math - 630
Writing - 680 with a 12 on the essay

My SAT II scores are:
Lit - 680
US History - 650

I was wondering if I hold any chance of getting into the schools listed above, as I know my grades aren't spectacular, though I hope my writing skills and the fact that I've worked for a lawyer as a sort of uncertified paralegal will help me out.
