buummmmmmmmmp!

How about them private schools?

BUMP!~ I want to konw if I should even apply to the last 4.

from the guidance i was given: stats like yours will surely land you in the UC's but im not sure about the others. srry

Well, thanks anyways for your opinion. =]

Anyone else? Please?

bump...bump...

Curious, why would anyone apply to both Pomona and Harvey Mudd?

If you're a girl and you show real passion for engineering on your app, you might have a shot at Caltech. A girl at my school last year got in with worse SAT I/IIs, but better ECs (although her ECs weren't math/science related).

Haha I'm a guy, so I guess my chances are slim?

To gmman: actually I'm not going to apply to Pomona. I just saw the application and I hate it. =</p>

As of now I have applied to:

UCB
UCLA
UCSD
UCI
USC
Caltech
Harvey Mudd
(not applying to Stanford and Pomona)

Are there any other schools in California that I have a shot at?

That's not a reason not to apply to a school.

I think you should try applying outside of California! You'd have a shot at Ivies, MIT, etc..

HAHA! With my SAT scores? Fat chance!

Honestly, I do not like Pomona's application (partially because I would have to rewrite my essays.) I think one question asked for a photograph or something, but whatever. I don't think I have a chance at Pomona. If I get into HMC I would most likely go there.

My parents don't want me going OOS, so basically I'm limited to the UCs and several privates.
