You have a good chance - I'm applying there as well and I have lower SAT scores, but according to my school's stats, kids with lower stats than yours and mine have gotten in. And not just a few, but probably close to 15. I'm not sure if its because my school is good and is known by their adcom, or what. GL though.

What I'm probably more concerned about is financial aid... Sure, getting into a $45,000 university is one thing, but paying for it seems a lot more difficult now that it seems I have a chance!

I think if you get a 2000 SAT and win some awards and have better ECs , you're in. Right now you seem okay but you know just to make sure.. cause your ECs are really weak, "church volunteering" is really broad & vague

No such luck...blasted father's Y chromosome made me male...

Make that a 3.6 GPA

and I forgot some ECs

'Church voluteering' = started off doing menial tasks, then became cashier of the kitchen, then started substituting for the manager when he wasn't around.
Babysitting for free: babysat this kid for free for two years
Ran a soup kitchen line a couple of times...didn't know how to put it on the app.
