I have a 3.075 gpa and recently took the ACT which I got a 22 on without any prep or review with a 9 in the writing. Although, trust me I plan on pulling up that score by at least 8 points. I really would love love love to go to NYU and major in Musical Theatre. so yeah!</p>

<p>NYU is gonna be a reach for you, even if you get your ACT up…your GPA is too low, and the Tisch school of arts is one of the hardest schools at NYU to get into.</p>
<p>I agree with the rest of the posters here. You will probably not be considered at all for admissions at this point, let alone scholarships. you need to get your GPA, rank, and standardized test scores way up to be good enough for admission. As drac313 above me said, the school of arts there is one of the hardest to get into. You probably are going to need some pretty decent ECs as well unless you raise everything a drastic amount. Don’t be so cocky about raising your score by 8 points. That’s a 22% increase in your score (and a 36% improvement overall), like going from a D to a B. Even with a lot of studying, that’ll be difficult to pull off. </p>
