I think you have a really good chance at BU/BC, Drexel, Penn State, and Northeastern. However, like others said, Yale/UPenn/Princeton etc. will be difficult unless your SAT improves SIGNIFICANTLY. Also, although your ECs aren’t lacking in quantity, they don’t show that you’ve put a lot of time and effort into them. How have you taken any of the clubs/community service beyond the average? You seem “typical Asian” (I know, because I’m one too), so can you do something to differentiate yourself from other Asians? Something… un-Asian? Haha, not sure what that exactly means. Finally, your demographics. Being first-gen should really help you, but being Asian hurts. What about the part of US you live in, and your family’s financial assets? All of that will matter.
During the summer before senior year, it would be great to find an internship/research or something of a similarly serious caliber to show you’re ready for the “real world.” DO NOT mention that you spent a summer studying for the SAT.
It’s ok to say that your interests have changed, they know most teenagers have no clear direction in life. Besides, with all your math involvements, research or engineering are totally reasonable!
Good luck!
