<p>In this day and age college admissions are so competitive that I feel the need to have a wide variety of options. Pitt is obviously a fantastic school that I would be thrilled to be accepted to, especially if some of my more competitive options fall through.</p>

<p>Agree w/ southeastmom. Definitely apply EARLY (summer if you can) and you might get some scholarship money too.</p>

<p>Apply early and you have a nice chance at a full scholarship. Pitt wants more OOS students so being from MD (like we are) does help.</p>
