What Are My Chances?

<p>Hi! I am a Maryland resident, and I would like to do a double major with Finance or Economics and History. </p>

<p>GPA: 3.2(uw) 3.8(w) (I know they stink, but they are upward trending)</p>

<p>SAT: 650 reading 650 writing 590 math</p>

<p>ACT: 28 compositie with reading</p>

<p>AP: 5 AP classes</p>

<p>IB: 8 IB classes</p>

<p>Honors: 11 honors classes</p>

<p>Ohio state’s main focus is on GPA. If you don’t have a 3.5+ unweighted, you will probably be deferred.</p>

<p>Your GPA is lower than average, but if you went to a competitive high school, OSU may take that into account, plus you seem to have taken a difficult course load. Your ACT score is average, so no bad news there, but no good news either. I think you stand a moderate chance of getting in. </p>

<p>I’m a senior finance major here (with an econ minor), about to graduate, if you have any questions about the business college, finance, or about OSU in general.</p>
