What are my chances?

<p>Hey everybody! I've applied priority for UMCP- IN-STATE</p>

<p>My high school is rank #20 in my state and #854 in the nation, so i come from a great school with an "Academy" based structure.</p>

<p>Current GPA W: 3.68 UW: 3.48
**Perspective Final GPA W: 4.1 UW: 3.7</p>

<p>4 APs (AP Studio Art, AP Lit & Comp, AP World History, AP Prob & Stat)
13 Honors (Hon English 1, Hon Global Perspectives Lit & Comp, Hon Government, Hon Freshman Seminar, Hon Survey American Lit & Comp, Hon US History, Hon Spanish III, Hon Spanish IV, Hon British Lit & Comp, Hon Studio Art, Hon Drawing, Hon Painting, Hon Psych)</p>

<p>Class rank: 92/294 (Top 32%)</p>

<p>SAT Scores: 1530/2400; 440 Reading, 500 Math, 590 Writing
SAT II & ACT Scores: N/A</p>

<p>Clubs: President of the National Art Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) member, Art Club member for 6 years. Arts, Humanities, and Communications Executive Board member (AHC Academy at my school) and a member of the BIM Academy (Business, Information, and Management).</p>

<p>Did you try the ACT? That SAT score may hurt you. 940/1600 is way below.</p>

<p>what state are you from? I agree that your SAT scores may be a problem for admissions.</p>

@astrophysicsmom I’m from Maryland. I know, i guess i’m just a bad test taker, i hope they see that my academics don’t match my test scores.</p>
