What are my chances

What are my chances getting in the Rutgers college of nursing? My GPA is 3.36 and my SATs were a combined 1210 and total 1740; separately CR is 610, M is 600 and W is 530. I hear that writing isn't that big a deal because my combined score looks much better than when my writing score is added. I am an active participant in my school being a Natural Helper, member of Science Club and am a Senior Representative. I have done 200+ hours of volunteering in a hospital. I'm Asian and live out of state from NJ. I am in the top 20% of my school. I take level 1 (honors) and AP courses. So.....chance me

I think it may be a bit of a reach for you. Although you have pretty good EC’s, you definitely need to improve your GPA & SAT score. Good luck!

I’m pretty sure my GPA is gonna go up this year, but as it it now, are my chances a little higher than 50% or a little lower? I looked at college board and other sites and my math and critical reading fall within range of the school.

The nursing program is very competitive and I think your SAT scores will hurt you a little. You should also apply to SAS , take the pre-req and then apply to nursing. That should be your plan B if plan A doesn’t work out. That is only if RU is your first choice. Good luck
