What are my chances?

<p>Hey everyone! </p>

<p>I'd just like to know what are my chances of getting into Penn State - University Park? I applied back in late november (25-30) to the Smeal business school. I'm getting a bit worried that I haven't heard back.</p>

<p>Essay: I thought it was pretty solid. </p>

CR-620</p>

<p>Academics:
I go to a very competitive public high school (out of state). My freshman gpa (2.85) isn't great due to illness but the following years my weighted gpa has been a 3.5-3.6. I've taken several APs in both math, history, and economics. There aren't any honors classes or rankings at my school (idk if that's a plus or minus). </p>

<p>Extracurriculars/Employment:
Singing - Private and in school
Piano - Private
Photography
Lead school community service group (2 yrs)
Model UN - 3yrs
Head high school tour guide
School newspaper business manager
Employment every high school summer break</p>

<p>What are my chances? It's been a bit over a month and I'm getting worried.</p>

<p>Your SAT is good. Schools go by your cumulative GPA. What is your cumulative GPA weighted/unweighted? Be patient, they have until January 31st to let you know and since you applied right at the end of the priority deadline it might take a couple of weeks. I know it’s frustrating when all you want is an answer, but they have thousands of applications to go through. Good Luck!</p>
