What are my chances

Hello I am a freshman at Penn State University Berks campus. I chose to go to a satellite campus for my first two years to ease the transition into college life. I am a resident on campus even though home is within the hour. I am planning on transferring to University Park after my sophomore year, however I am going to apply to a few other schools as a transfer student. The schools I am planning on applying to are Johns Hopkins, Upenn, Villanova and possibly Temple. What are my chances of getting into these schools?

By the Fall when I apply I should have in between a 3.8-3.9 gpa

I will have 36 credits when I apply

2-3 very strong letters of recommendation

Internship at Peco Energy, Philadelphia Pa (between freshman and sophomore year summer)

Am involved with political science club, ski/snowboard club.

Planning on being a residential advisor next year.

Will be traveling to Belize this summer for over a week to do volunteer work.

Have done A LOT of community service through key club, the salvation army, and habitat for humanity.

Worked along Penn State Interns three consecutive summers at a local psychology firm. (thought this is what I wanted to study in college at the time)

Thanks for your time and responses.

PSU should be doable, UPenn is the big reach, Temple is a low match, don’t know enough about JHU and Villanova.

JHU and UPenn are hard to transfer into but that does not make it impossible

Okay thats what I figured thanks so much for your response. Also do you know how much my high school grades and SAT scores will factor into the transfer?

they will care more about your college achievement. I think they only request HS transcripts to see if your grades improved since then.

Okay. My grades have improved significantly since then. Also I will be in the honors program next year as well which should help.
