what are my chances?

<p>i am a french student doing the french baccalaureate.i speak 4 languages :arabic french english and dutch .i scored 1830 on the SAT . 730 math / 530 Cr / 570 Writing . It is pretty good knowing that my english is my 3rd language. gpa doesnt exist in France (scores over 20) i have an average of 14,5/20 (very good overall , oxford in the uk asks 15 s).i also have 150+ hours of community service , volunteered for the ref cross , blablabla(much more) , and starter for my school s soccer team for the past 4 years , play in a good local team for 3 years(starter). completed in the Como tournement in Italy...
i scored a 17/20 on the tpe (project done in a period of 9months, its an almost perfect score)
i am applying next year to ucsd ucla ucb nyu michian and bu . what are my chances?</p>

<p>You may have a chance at umich. SAT of 1830 is far below the average admission for most, if not all, the schools on your list. Even umich is at 1992. I cannot judge your GPA (or equivalent), but the EC is about average for students applying to these schools.</p>

won t they give me any advantage knowing that i am an international student and english isnt even my 2nd language? its obviously the reading part that is putting my overall score down.i think my math score is decent</p>

<p>I’m a French student too and going through the same process as you are. Yes your math score is good but the other to are below average for those universities (even if the writing score doesn’t count as much). 14.5 is fine but NYU for example might ask 16 rather than 14.5 !
As for the TPE they don’t really care…
I’m sure you’ll get into one of those but be sure to apply to some safety schools too !
Are you in terminal ? isn’t it a bit late to be applying to university ?</p>

<p>and i dont think they actually really look at the bac many of my friends who applied to the us got unconditional offers so i dont really think that they look at the bac(they got acceptance /rejection letters couple of weeks ago and bac is in may).and i am appling as a freshman </p>
