Hi, I am a senior who applied to Cornell University a few months ago, and I was wondering what my chances were of getting into this U.
Here are some of my stats:
GPA -4.4
Class rank- 60/780 (top 8%) I am in a very good
school district.
taken all but 5 honors/AP classes throughout high
school, getting A's in almost all. (6 AP classes...AP
Micro, AP Bio 1 and 2, Ap calc ab and bc, and AP
statistics)
SAT's- 1950 (1300 Math/Verbal)
Over 200 hours of volunteer work in doctors offices, hospitals, nursing homes, community service projects, and w/Red Cross
Lots of extracurricular activities (Debate team, chess team, mathletics team, varsity tennis team, etc.)
I also have many academic awards in various subjects and various outstanding achievements.
And I'm Indian too, if that helps. Please let me know...thanks

SAT's too low for cornell.

GPA is very good and bein a minority will help too

well im sure being indian will help since there are many competitive indians, and the sat's are a bit too low for cornell

being Indian (and I assume you dont mean Native Amerian) will most likely hurt you slightly in college admissions simply due to the huge number of math/science focused Indians that apply each year.
