What are my chances...

Chance Me / Match Me!

<p>I am interested in going into engineering and i am wondering what do you guys think my chances are for these schools
-Purdue
-U of I (Urbana)
-Notre Dame</p>

<p>Here are my stats
-unweighted GPA - 3.77
-ACT is a 26 (math - 29, eng - 26, sci - 27, read - 23)
I also took an ACT with writing and received a 25, writing was a 9 of 12
- Top 10% (maybe 5%, currently 5 but not sure if borderline or not)
Classes of junior year - AP Clac AB, AP US, AP english, spanish 4, honors physics. Next year i am going to take
-AP english, AP Calc BC, AP physics, physc(1st sem, AP physc 2nd semester), and CAD/Engineering concepts</p>

<p>Also, what other schools are good for engineering, i live in Illinois and don't really want to go cross country, so states around Illinois are good.</p>

<p>I’m currently looking at different schools so another school i would like to add is U of Wisconsin - Madison for their engineering</p>

<p>Your GPA is fine, but ACT at 26 is far below the average (~30) for these schools, particularly for the engineering program. As of now, you may be a high match to low reach for these schools’ engineering programs.</p>

<p>Ok thanks for the answer, i’m redoing the act in June and September if i still don’t like my score, need that reading score to go up!</p>

UIUC: High Match/ Low Reach</p>

<p>If you get your ACT to a 30 or over, UIUC would probably be a Match, and Notre Dame a Reach.</p>
