Hey guys, I'm a new member here and I'll be a senior in high school next year. Since I'm not very familiar with this stuff, I just wanted to ask you guys. Honestly, my academic repertoire is nothing to brag about since I was mostly distracted and off task in high school. My family and I moved here in 6th grade and I learned English in approximately a year (I spoke no English when I moved here). I currently have a 3.5 GPA overall and I'm just wondering what type of schools I can get into. I do a lot of extracurricular activities (marching band, jazz band, interact club, humanitarian). I played varsity soccer for one year. Our school's marching band and jazz band have each been state champions. I'm also a pianist who is nationally ranked and just won a major competition in California. I also accompany elite violinists from masterclasses. What do you guys think?

Music is your primary passion, so why not try U Rochester?

UVA and NWU Bienen might be stretches, though.

People tell me that but I don’t really think I want to pursue a career in music.
