What are my chances??? I will be majoring in Athletic training

Your grades and ECs are good but your test scores will hurt you. As of class of 2012, midrange SAT is 1120-1280 (for CR+M only) and ACT 24-29. For an OOS student you probably need to be solidly in that range. Fingers crossed that your ACT is higher.

Good luck with those SAT scores. I’d really recommend you retake and try to shoot for at least a 500 in each category.

Everything else looks good, but those SAT scores are going to kill you. USC relies a lot on GPA/SAT. In the past, they have admitted every qualified SC resident and they considered “qualified” to be: 3.0 GPA and a 1000 SAT (500+500). As an out-of-state student, you have an even higher bar placed on you.

Yikes! Your SAT scores are going to kill you. Mine were not much better. I found the ACT to be much easier. If you do not score well this time, take it again. I improved by ACT score by four points. I took the SAT twice and did not see any improvement. With your grades and ECs, you should be admitted if you obtain an ACT score of 25. Also, you may be admitted into the Bridge Program even with your current scores. Good luck.
