Colleges planning to apply to : Princeton, Columbia, Standford, Cambridge, Brooklyn, City College, Hunter, and Barnard.
My GPA is 3.9, and I am currently a junior. I am my school's Honor representative, student representative, and student senator. My ranking falls in the 10%, and I also act as a teachers aid/assistant. I intern for two of my teachers, and a graphic Tees company. During summers I do only a little over 20 hours of volunteer work since I have a job. After school hours I tutor my peers who need help in either the subjects of English and/or History. As for clubs, I have done Vocal, knitting, yearbook, step up, dance, cheerleading, and lastly a leadership group which planned out mini community service projects I was required to do. My school only has one AP class, which is only available for seniors, so I will be taking it next year and for the mean time I am taking college now classes. For fun, I have my own blog which consist of my political opinions. I have received so far six awards; organization, top 20, top 5, over average, writing across curriculum, And the English award. Since I haven't took the SAT's yet I am going to attend SAT prep and reach for possibly a 2200 but if not, i'll retake it. Lastly for the regents i have past all my tests with good grades and going for advanced.
