What Are My Chances?

Hey Everyone!

I just found out about this place and I was wondering what all you other over-achievers thought my chances of getting into Brown or other Ivies were:

Background: Caucasian; however, I moved here from the Ukraine and Russian is my first language.
School: Swampscott Public (Extremely Suburban)
GPA: 93 Unweighted 99 Weighted
Rank: 7 Unweighter 8 weighted (out of 193)
PSATs: 69 Critical Reading 74 Math 76 Writing Skills
(haven’t gotten SAT scores back)

keep in mind i’m only a junior

Clubs: Science Team (2 years), Math Team (3 years), Chess Team (first board, 3 years), Spanish Club, International Relations Club (2 years), Political Action Club (1 year), Mock Trial (1 year), Marching and Concert Band (Flute, Piccolo, Sousaphone, Tuba, 3 years), National Honors Society

Outside of School: Karate (7 years), I’ve held down a job at CVS since end of sophomore year and plan to continue till (or through) college

Volunteer Credits: Habitat for Humanities, My Brother’s Table, My Brother’s Table’s Garden Party, but my major volunteer work is once a week at my dojo (karate studio) I help younger students.

Educational Trips: Harvard Model Congress, Model United Nations, Band Trip

Thanks so much for taking the time to help me out, any comments or personal cases would be appreciated!

swampscott! i grew up in hamilton-wenham and my dad's from revere…

"but my major volunteer work is once a week at my dojo (karate studio) I help younger students"

i don't think that actually counts as volunteer hours, unless your dojo is non-profit :\ don't take my word for it though

""but my major volunteer work is once a week at my dojo (karate studio) I help younger students""

I also did this when I took karate, and my school accepted it as volunteer work because I didn't gain anything from it, and my tutoring didn't increase the dojo's profits either. By the way, I'm from Belarus:)

the Belarus rocks on guys! But what colleges do I have a shot in? I'm uncertain about my major I'm thinking anywhere that has to do with math or science or its crazy applications (i.e. engineering, programming)... any ideas about colleges?
