I have a 4.3 overall gpa, a 3.97 unweighted and have not finished junior year. I expect to have a 4.37 overall after the year is over with a 4.62 10-11 gpa. I will end up taking 10+ AP courses and will be valedictorian. My college essay is like no other in that i am suffering from a rare heart disease. I have had about 7 club positions and am thinking about making a 501c3 non-profit. My SAT is a 2040 with a superscore 2060 and I want to go to Stanford or Columbia as reaches or to UCSD, UCLA, and University of Virginia.

Stanford and Columbia are not happening with a score below their average. You’d need a 2300+ to be competitive. Even UCLA is selective like that.

“Like no other”–I’m sure admissions officers get lots of sob stories / overcoming adversity essays

How could you predict that you are gonna be valedictorian without being a senior? And btw, most schools don’t care about weighted GPAs. But Stanford is pretty much a definite no. Columbia is a high reach. UCLA is a mid to high range match, UCSD is a low match, and UVA is a match.

My school has a weird thing with valedictorian and the requirements which i have met
