What are my chances.

I am a junior at a high school with high standardized test scores and graduation rates. I have a 3.64 GPA, my highest SAT score so far is a 2060, but I feel I can get to the 2200 range with continued practice. I have a total of 130 volunteering hours so far, mostly in science-related organizations. I am planning to major in biological sciences.
Which of these would be safety, reach or target schools?

University of California: Davis
University of California: Merced
University of California: Riverside
University of California: Santa Barbara
University of California: Santa Cruz
Ohio State University: Columbus Campus
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
San Jose State University
San Diego State University
Boston University, Boston
Cal Poly SLO

Thanks!

Is your 3.65 GPA weighted and how many AP classes have you taken and/are taking? Too early to really chance you but you are doing well so far with your SAT score and GPA if that is unweighted. Are you in-state California?

You will need to calculate your UC/CSU GPA at the end of your Junior year, see link for calculation: <a href=“GPA Calculator for the University of California – RogerHub”>http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

For Cal Poly SLO/UCD/UCSB: Aim for a UC GPA of 4.0+, SAT looks competitive but higher will definitely make them matches to high matches… With current Stats they are Low Reaches

For UCSC: Aim for UC GPA of 3.8+, SAT fine (High Match currently)

UCR/SDSU/SJSU: Match with current Stats

UCM: Safety with current Stats (just remember, a safety also has to be affordable)

I am not sure about the others.
Good Luck and keep up the good work.
