Since you do live in Maryland, (i do too) i know there’s a mass amount of competition to get into UMD as an in-state student. It’s a match, but if you bumped your UW GPA but a tad, you would be all set. Cornell, & Carnegie are all high reaches.
Chance me back?

I haven’t looked into McGill @Catria‌. I’ll do a little research

Cornell: Reach for everyone
Georgetown: Reach
UVA: Low reach
UMD: Match
Wake Forest: Low Match- Match (GPA could be higher)
CMU Tepper: Reach

Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1690007-claremont-mckenna-duke-bucknell-grinnell-uofr-chances.html

Cornell (ED) - high reach
UVA (EA) - acceptance (I really think UVA focuses a lot on the essay from personal experience with sister and family friends: my sister got a 1900 on the SAT and got accepted and family friend got 2200 and rejected; sister was a great writer, but I heard the other girl wasn’t…both in state though)
UMD-College Park (EA) - acceptance just b/c you’re in state with a great resume
Wake Forest - I’m not really familiar with this school although I heard standardized scores are optional to send or something like that
Carnegie Mellon - high reach
NYU - medium reach
UT-Austin - not familiar with this school  sorry
Virginia Tech - Definitely acceptance

Good luck to you!:)

What’s your budget?
This will be a key element for most of these schools.

You’re probably not competitive for Georgetown but you can thrown in the application after you’re done with the others (deadline Jan 10), as a “one never knows”. Note that they require THREE different Subject tests (ie., you can’t take Spanish with listening and Spanish, or Math1 and Math2)

@MYOS1634‌ my budget’s probably 40-50,000. I’m asking about Georgetown since their business program seems to be a lot stronger than Carnegie Mellon’s program so if my odds for Georgetown look better, I’d replace Carnegie Mellon with Georgetown.

Cornell (ED) - High Reach
UVA (EA) - Reach (senior year courses are really important; rigor in prior years v. impt)
UMD-College Park (EA) - Match
Wake Forest - High Match
Carnegie Mellon - High Reach
NYU - High Reach (only because they have many more female applicants than male and you have a competitive and popular major choice)
UT-Austin - Reach (great, great school with a growing global reputation)
Virginia Tech - Match/High Match
