<p>I’m a die-hard Brown and Columbia fan…do you think I have a shot? I know ACTs are kind of low but they are average for Brown and only one point below average for Columbia. </p>

<p>You don’t really have any hooks to increase your chances. It’s kind of a luck of the draw like the rest of us. </p>

<p>Your ACT is not good at all for Ivy League. You will be cut first because of that. These schools first cut people with the low scores then look at the extra stuff so get the scores up to get any chance at all.</p>

<p>Also, since you are white, your scores need to be definitely higher than average.</p>
