You are within the range, but so are most people. Make sure you stand out in some way, (like your essays).

Your SATs lean toward the low side for Tufts.
What is your unweighted GPA?
Have you taken SAT Subject Tests?
What were your scores in the APs that you’ve taken in past years?

760 for us history, 680 world history 680 lit. 5s in both ap language and ap us history. 4 in world. Taking three more aps this year ( ap calc ap environmental and ap comparative) I take it back. 97.6 is unweighted!!

Better to read the Tufts admissions blog to get help on what makes an applicant standout.

Its gonna be a reach but doable I think. Give it a shot, what’s the worst that can happen?

I honestly don’t think its that much of a reach. I got in last year with a 2090 sat. It’s all about how you measure up wholistically. Be deeply involved & passionate about your causes- that’s what Tufts is about. Embracing your passions. You need to show this in your essays and interview.

Like some people said, you have a great GPA/EC’s but there just needs to be that X FACTOR that makes you stand out from everyone. I’m not saying your scores are bad. That’s actually what I got too. It’s above average, but not enough to get you accepted easily. Make your essays out of this world good  Best of luck.
