What are you asking? Colleges that fit your Stats in California? Intended major? First college, would be your in-service area Cal state where you get priority. Also need breakdown of your SAT (Math + CR) to calculate your eligiblity index. CSU and UC GPA calculation is the same unless your CSU includes 9th grades since SLO will use these also in their calculation.

@Gumbymom‌ my chances of getting into any in state college
CSU’s use 12 grade and UC’s do not!!
530 for math 650 for cr and 600 for writing and an essay score of 8

They can’t use 12th grades since you apply Senior year before they are posted on your transcript unless your school year is different. Most schools year start Aug/Sep - May/June. Applications are due in November, so most Seniors will not have grades to post. Also, since you are a Junior, how can you have Senior grades included in your CSU GPA already!!!

What is your local in-service area Cal State? That would be a safety. Since you did not post Intended major based on your SAT and ACT scores, your EI is 3910/950. You might want to consider CSUF/CSULB/CPP/SJSU for Cal States. For UC’s, UCM/UCR and UCSC. UCI as a possible Reach along with Cal Poly SLO or SDSU.

If you want more safeties, SFSU, CSUSM, CSUMB, Sac State etc. Your Stats are pretty competitive for most of the Cal States, but limited to the only a few of the UC’s. Your GPA is hurting your chances. You have many many choices, so it will be up to you which schools you like the best. Make sure all the schools that you apply to are schools you are willing to attend even the Safeties. Admissions can be random at times, so have a balanced list of safeties, matches and reaches. Good Luck.

@gumbymom I live in the valley region so im guessing my local cal state would be CSULA, but im really hoping for CSULB or SDSU! As for my major im pretty much undeclared at this time, but I am thinking about either a double major or a major and minor in biology and liberal studies. I’d like to go pre-med later on, but would also like a back up plan just in case that does not end up happening. Thank you soooooo much for all of the information I’ve been stressed over all this for so long!!! https://secure.csumentor.edu/planning/high_school/gpa_calculator.asp#calculator
And about the 12th grade I read on here " after grade 9 " so I just assumed it counted 12th as well, but forgot apps are due nov-ish!

it is just a-g courses in grades 10-11. Assuming you calculated your CSUGPA correctly, your CSU Index is 3920 which will get you into most programs at LB but, probably not SDSU - where you’d need a 4100 to comfortably get in.

Note Long Beach is one of a handful of schools that uses a modified Index for STEM majors - they double - count your Math SAT, which was relatively weak. You might want to apply as a Lib Studies major, then pick up Bio once you are there.

Another school to think about is CP Pomona - excellent science programs.

You do have time to take the SAT again - something you should consider if SDSU is your top choice.
