Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to hear my story and give your honest opinion about my chances.
I’m looking for a tier one or tier two ranked school (Ivies at the top, universities such as Duke, Vanderbilt, and Chicago in the middle, and Wisconsin or Minnesota at the bottom for safeties). Please be realistic and take into account that, as I am beginning this year as a junior, I have not taken any SATs, ACTs, or SAT IIs yet.
Alright, let’s begin!
GPA UW: 4.0
Rank: Top 5% of my class of 250
I go to a very highly ranked school in my state

AP US History
AP Bio
AP Economics
AP Government
AP European
AP Language and Composition
AP Physics OR AP Stats (haven’t decided yet…)
AP Calculus AB
I won’t bore you with the details of my schedules, but I took orchestra for an arts option, will take 4-5 APs junior year (one sophomore year and 3-4 senior year), and two languages–Spanish and Chinese, of which I will complete Chinese 4 my senior year and will take a college credit approved class through a college in my home state (Spanish “six,” if you will, as my school only has Spanish 5) during my junior year; I will not take Spanish senior year.
