I am an international student who wants to apply to need-blind colleges in USA with the FINANCIAL AID. But my family here in Indonesia does NOT pay tax returns. So there are no documents stating how much income my family makes in a year. What are my chances to get financial aid? Is there any other way other than that tax document?
They are justifying your need for a financial aid you need to undergo everything they ask for I’m afraid. You may want to try and ask the university you’re applying for? If that’s helpful.

Well, how does the government of Indonesia know how much money you make? This is the document you’d need.
