What are my chances?

So I just got my SAT score back and I got a 2050 (680 math, 670 reading, 700 writing). I’m hoping to take it again but thats my score for now. Im also starting to prep for the ACT and I’m taking that in June

Haven’t taken the SAT II s yet, scheduled for May

I also am a Neuro research intern at mount sinai hospital in nyc, which i did last summer and this summer full time and I’m participating in science competitions this year and next year for my research (lysef, intel, etc)

Background: My parents didn’t go to college so Im the first generation, they immigrated from Israel and I speak fluent hebrew

Your score is really good for your first time! With a little bit of extra practice, you can pretty easily bring that to a 2250. I’m assuming you’re a neuroscience major, or something in that field. But you have a strong chance at the schools you listed. Northwestern and UChicago are definitely your reaches, but you have a solid hook of being first generation. BU is a safety, but I think Northeastern and Boston College would be pretty good matches for you. Have you thought about Vanderbilt and Wake Forest? They both have really good biology programs (Vanderbilt has a neuro major, Wake has it as a minor). You’re a solid student, keep up the good work!
