What are my chances?

GPA: 3.0 (85)
W GPA: 3.3 (87)
I’m trying to get my weighted to a 3.5 (90) because I’m taking a lot of honors and 2 AP classes.
I have 4 c’s on my transcript and 1 D but it’s because my school is SO competitive ugh.
SAT: 1100/1600
ACT: 27/36

I really messed up freshman year and half of sophomore year. I was distracted and never cared. I have had a lot of health problems and also had a concussion which really ruined by learning abilities. (I’m going to ask my guidance counselor if it could be written on my transcript) I’m currently a junior and I’m doing A LOT better, so I’m hoping that colleges see my upward trend. I’m not applying to all but I need help deciding which ones should be eliminated for sure.

I took off some that I didn’t know the stats of. This is a very large list! You should visit schools and see what setting you like to narrow it down. Your grades going upward is very good to show colleges. Since you have some large southern schools on this list, maybe add Clemson, it is a great school. Also, Lafayette is a lot like Lehigh but a little easier, and if you interview, show interest, and ED, you can get in. I hope you have tons of options!

Penn State, USC, UCB, Elon, Tulane, Lehigh, and Northeastern are probably going to be super hard for you to get into. I’m not saying you CANT, because you most definitly can if you try the rest of the year and you have a great essay! BUT, of all the schools you named, your gonna have a bit of a hard time and don’t get surprised if you do get rejected. Good luck!!
