Left NYU my sophomore year 2013 due to academic dismissal, with a 1.8 GPA.
However, I started community college in 2015 and will be graduating this upcoming spring 2017. Current GPA is 3.88.
Also I have interned throughout my gap year at a non-profit for about 8 months and am currently working part-time at a dental clinic.
Planning to transfer to undergrad programs to finish off my undergrad career with a Bachelors. I am applying to really great schools. Like some of them being USC, Columbia, Duke, Dartmouth, UPenn, UCLA…What do you think are my chances?
It seems that you have made good use of your gap year, and a 3.9 GPA will definitely help. I’d say USC and UClA are match schools while the rest are either low reach/reach. Chance me please?
