I’m a sophomore in a community college and I have completed about 33 units already, I have 3 C’s and 1 D and the rest of my grades are all A’s. I got those c grades in 2 math classes and geography. In anthropology I got the D. As you can tell math and science is definitely not my forte. The major I’m pursuing is Interior Design ( Fine arts major ). I want to know if these grade are going to affect my chances of applying to a 4 year. I preferably want to transfer to csu. Thanks!
What is your CSU transferable GPA? Which CSU’s are you targeting?
2.0 + and csulb
Do you have a minimum GPA of 2.5 with at least a C in your required Design classes?

I would imagine if you meet the GPA requirement, that your acceptance would hinge on your portfolio. Definitely worth an application, but you should apply to a few backup schools just in case.
i received A’s in my required art/design courses. I’m just slightly worried about those classes that I’ve received a c’s and a d.
A D grade is never good. Any chance for academic renewal and retaking these classes?
Long beach and the rest of the impacted CSUs are unlikely to admit you with a sub 3.0. Retake your Ds and find a non-impacted CSU or two so you don’t get shut out.
Good luck
