Essay: I wrote about a humbling experience I had during the holidays a few years ago when I chose an Angel from an Angel tree at Panera Bread and he asked for a backpack, ‘if possible.’

Dad has an Associates degree and a Bachelor’s degree
Mom did not attend college
I qualify for Bright Futures FAS

I also don’t have many volunteer hours from my freshman and sophomore years because my school lost them, and foolishly, I did not think to keep a record of them for myself.

I think you are a solid candidate! UF admissions are insanely random, though, but I would say you have a pretty good chance!
