Hi, I’m waiting to hear back from admissions in the hopes of being a third year transfer in the fall. I’m currently a student at Old Dominion University, and my reasons for wanting to transfer are simple: I want to become an attorney and attend a reputable law school, therefore I need to be studying curriculum that will better prepare me for my future endeavors. My current cumulative GPA is a 3.51, and by the end of the semester I’m hoping it’ll be a 3.6. After this semester I will have completed 54 credit hours. The only class I do not have is foreign language I believe. I’m a VP of my sorority (which I would continue at UVA if I get in) and I nanny Monday-Friday for a UVA alum family of five. I have three academic letters of recommendation, as well as three alumni letters of recommendation. What do you think my chances are of getting accepted? If you have any other questions for me that’ll better help you answer this accurately, feel free to ask!
I forgot to add that I applied to the College of Arts & Sciences and that I’m majoring in Economics at the moment.
