Do you have a reason for a lower than average UC GPA but an excellent SAT score?
UC’s tend to be very GPA focused but your overall application will be reviewed along with your HS course rigor, personal insight essays and EC’s. Hopefully you addressed the GPA/test score mismatch in one of your essays.

@Gumbymom
My highschool is an extremely competitive school and our classes tend to be very difficult. The average gpa at my school is about a 3.5 and the average applicant from my school that gets into UCI tends to have an average gpa of about 3.8.
A 3.67 UC GPA would mean your unweighted GPA would be around 3.3-3.4, which yeah, would be on the low side for the first and second tier UCs. UCs tend to be a bit more GPA-focused. Not only that, but getting into Bren is much harder than the other schools nowadays as well.
Then based on this additional information, you would have a better chance at UCI than stats suggest but it still is not a guaranteed admission. Competition any computer related majors is very tough.
Best of luck.
