<p>What are my chances for regular decision? I recently got deferred from Harvard and now I am desperatley looking for other schools and Yale is my second choice. I am taking 6 AP classes this year.</p>

<p>Your scores and GPA seem fairly low. Do you have leadership positions in and/or devote a lot of time to your extracurricular activities? You should mention that; commitment to ECs would help you, if you have any. However, that you are a African American is a definite advantage.</p>

<p>I spend alot of time doing karate and i attend nationals each year. i attached a resume that showed all the tournaments i have won and also my dreams to join the usa olympic team in 2008</p>

<p>That's really good. I missed the "national competitor" in your ec list the first time I read it... that would change things!</p>

<p>Would that make my chances better or should I still consider Yale a high reach?</p>
