What are my chances?

ND4ever & irish68178,

Thank you so much! I will tell Brandon - he will be much encouraged

And I appreciate the tip concerning the new thread - will do in the future!

did I just get hijacked?!?! lol

Yes sir, you did :). Sorry about that, but is there more we can answer for you Smith? I am still watching the thread.

I apologize, Smith - didn't mean to hijack anyone!

Don't worry, I don't think he was serious since he had the lol which means laugh out loud. Also, you didn't know, so no worries. It just is easier when you have separate threads so you know your question gets answered is all, but don't stress it, no one is upset.

it was only meant as a joke
no harm done...
nothing now irish just working on my sat scores so I can try to apply EA

tell your son to eat 12 peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches a day each with a glass of milk, and run 4 miles a day.. and I bet/guarantee he could play D.1 for the Irish... hahah I know what you mean with football being a year round sport......

Hey Ya'll just reviving this thread from obscurity one more time to see what the irish nation thinks my chances for acceptance in regular descision will be... I was deferred EA do deferrals have a disadvantage when compared to the regular applicant pool? thanks

hey.. i live in south bend, and i'm a senior at a local high school. you will get in.. why? i have lots of friends that have gotten in and have nothing on you. im a african american also.. they need more. i've even talked with father hesburg. "i think" you have a GREAT shot.

If you go back and look at the EA accepted thread, you'll see the test scores and grades were crazy high. I think you were deferred only because your GPA and scores were on the low side. That being said, you have quite a bit going for you and I think you'll shine in the regular decision process.

I say you're in.

thanks for the input
