I am currently at City College of San Francisco which is a community college outside of SDSU's service area. I'd like to transfer to SDSU though. I've completed all 39 units of CSU GE requirement, and all 60 CSU transferrable units. My GPA is 3,65. I've also completed all the extra classes SDSU wanted me to. So what are my chances of transferring? Will i get rejected because my GPA isn't closer to 4? Will i get rejected because i am not going to a community college in SD area?

PS: I am a California resident and I have 2 great letters of reccomendation if that's gonna help.

I want to study Psychology. In SDSU's website it says that their minimum GPA requirement for Psychology major for transfers is 2.4 and my GPA is well above that. I'm still afraid of getting rejected though because people say SDSU became very competetive lately.

Hey everybody! Thanks but i can't apply to UCLA because;

I hate Los Angeles

I have taken like 70 CSU transferrable units but only like 30 of them are UC transferrable.

I hate UC school system. They teach 3 calculus classes to Psych majors. This is lame! Psychology has nothing to do with calculus...

By the way SDSU requires for me to take this class called "Psychology 5". It is a statistics class in Psychology. I've already taken Maths 80 which is a statistics class also. Now my CCC won't let me take Psych 5 because I've already taken a statistics class. I hope SDSU accepts my Maths 80 class as a substitude for Psych 5.
