What are my chances?

I have no idea how they'll view your grades, but I got an 86 in non-AP physics and still got in.

Brown is known for being the most numbers oriented ivy. You're screwed...

(Why do you bother posting crap like that?? Do you really think your acceptange hinges on two b's you earned during your senior year?)

The next time you feel like posting unhelpful info just keep it to yourself because it is unneeded and annoying. I recieved B's for the first time in my life and I am confused on how this will affect my decision so I want to hear the opinions of others. I can care less if you dont like it so do me a favor and shut the hell up.

I hope these are not going to be the kind of people I have to be around come next fall lol

Sorry. I didnt mean any offense to anybody else. I just dont like when people lash out at others for asking for help. Its just wrong.

stanmaster22, your grades didn't drop by that much, i wouldn't worry about it

Ok thanks. I really hope its not a big deal. Oh wow I have my Brown interview in about 2 hours and the guy just called me about it right now to let me know. I'm so worried now!!!!!

Stan, how many forums have you invaded with your freaking chance threads? Shut up and wait it out.

Sorry about that. I realized I do it way too much and I feel like an idiot for it. I really hope you dont think less of me because of it.

Why don't you chill out? One Love.

You have a decent chance. It will help that you're black. Your scores a little low, but that won't make a big difference if you have other things to make up for it, which you seem to. Once you reach a certain academic level (I'd say 4 AP's senior year, more A's than B's but some B's), the important thing is not whether or not you got a B in one class or whether you take 5 AP's as opposed to 4 but that you have something unique and interesting to offer, that you would fit into Brown and that you show genuine intellectual curiosity. So if you've proven that you have a passion for something outside of school and genuine academic interests, you have a pretty good chance. Otherwise, it looks like Tufts for you :).
