I think you know your numbers look good...it's the standard forumal for the rsume of an over-achiever..that is good. Now what makes you different from the myriad of other applicants to the schools you mentioned?

As the axiom goes: Of course you are unique, just like everyone else.

You get the idea. Your application needs to be able to get across why you shoul dbe picked by one of these schools as opposed to someone elese with similar stats.

so should i emphasize my speech and debate track record?
also should i emphasize the fact that i joined the stanford internship which is really difficult to get into?

if i emphasize these, what are my chances?

i guess you will just have to depend on your recs and essay for now, as many other people have similar stats.

what are my chances for duke specifically?
i have really good recs and a pretty sweet essay according to everyone :)

ehhh anyone??

Duke is very hard to predict on admissions, as are many other top univs, but according to your stats, i'd say you have at least a 50% chance. That may be totally off, but it's just a guess. I'm sure other people will oppose my prediction.

Looks good to me
What have you done on the piano? Any distinctions?

just passed a few distinction tests in california basically
so its not a big deal...
so do u think i have a pretty good chance at these schools or not too good of a chance?
