(junior)
3.2 GPA (fairly hard courseload, not overly impressive, though)
1450 SAT ( 2150 on new SAT)
Decent ECs, normal club stuff, lacrosse, volunteer work, had an internship over the summer, will again this summer, probably could get a very nice rec from someone there.
I should have a good essay topic
My mom and dad both went to BC, have donated every year since they graduated, nothing big though.

If you can pull up your GPA, I think you've got a great chance. Is that an unweighted GPA? Does your school rank? Make sure you work really hard in at least 2 classes (you'll need 2 recs), and especially if you'll have the teachers again next year - you want the teachers to get to know and love you. Stick to your ECs and express interest in BC - call the admin office (probably after May 1st would be best so that they're not stressing over c/o 09 stuff) and ask questions that you have and/or go visit the school and bring along some thoughtful questions. Good luck!

School does not rank. I really want to go to BC, I think I can make that clear. GPA might go up a bit, maybe to 3.3, 3.4, it's UW.
