Thanks!

You have a very good shot at all your schools. Yale will be your hardest bet, of course, but then again, it is for everyone.

Thanks, though i think my ec's are a bit weak or average, at most.
Anyone else?

Your grades look good, but of course it depends on what kind of school you go to. Do you go to a challenging private school, an easy public school, or somewhere in between? Your scores are quite good as well, but they aren't as important as your grades.

I think your EC's are decent, but not particularly memorable. If you write an excellent essay, here is my prediction:
Brown: Reach
Cornell: Reach/Match
UPENN: Reach
Yale: High reach
Columbia: High reach
Dartmouth: Reach/Match
Tufts: Safety
University of Chicago: Reach/Match
Amherst: Match
Washington University in St. Louis: Safety
Wellesley: Uber Safety

thanks foryour response : )

anyhow, i go to a fairly competitive public school. actually, my school doesn't rank, unless it's absolutely required, but i know for certain, that im up there, in the top 5%. im just giving a rough estimate of my gpa, since i only know the weighted value.

also, i might apply for some engineering school. but, i'm not sure about that major. what are people's opinions on that? should i apply for engineering, even if i have only a slight interest? I could see myself doing engineering, as i have taken a bunch of math/science courses - ap bio, ap chem, ap physics c, ap calc bc, ap stat, ap multivariable calc./ linear alg. but, i'm not exactly sure. i'll prob. end up applying to a mix of engineering / arts and science schools.

ok, im applying to Amherst to, but u amy blow me out of the water on that one, u loook ood at all except for yale, dartmouth, and columbia, probably shoudlt go to wellesly no one wants an all girls school - btw, check mine at Where Shlould I go (if ig et in)

ok. thanks for comment.
anyways, just thought i would add, i go to a public school in new jersey

anyone else?

I bet Washu is gonna pull crap and waitlist you...

hm. do you guys really think i have at least some chance at those ivies? my grades are above average, but not the best. i don't have all a's, lotsa a-'s as well. and my ec's are lacking, could be better. SAT scores also above average, but not excellent. would i really, truly, have a chance?

urine!!!!
pack your bags

"urine?" uh yeah, what do you mean by that?

Hey lemonice, refer to my post for a response to your Columbia question. Though I'm probably not qualified to answer, your grades look awesome.

Brown -probably a match/safety
Cornell -match
UPENN -reach
Yale -reach
Columbia -match/reach
Dartmouth -match/reach

thanks guys.
anyways, if im applying for engineering, which of these schools would be the best for that? im not exactly dedicated to that major, but i do have an interest. as i mentioned before, im doing a mix of arts and sciences school or liberal arts & engineering ones. any oopinions? would appreciate much

anyone else?

hm. anyone??

Brown - slight reach
Cornell - slight reach
UPENN - reach
Yale - reach
Columbia - reach
Dartmouth - slight reach
Tufts - match
University of Chicago - match/safety
Amherst - match/safety
Washington University in St. Louis - safety
Wellesley - match
TCNJ - not sure.

Have you ever heard of Amherst College, ore0zZzZz? You seem to think it is more of a safety than Tufts and Wellesley.

yes, i agree, amherst is quite difficult to get into.
also, im applying to engineering at the following schools:
UPenn
Yale
Cornell

what are my chances at those schools, then?

anyone else?
